Allyson Paige: One of my oldest and dearest friends and a kick-ass singer to boot!
The Middle Class: My good buddy Clem and his buddies. These guys are a lot of fun! They use spoons, a washboard, guitars and lots of harmonies to create a wonderful Americana sound.
Lowen & Navarro: Love these guys! Wrote We Belong along with so many other great songs including Walking On A Wire, which is on Good As Gone. Also, be sure to check out the charity links for ALS Assn. Eric is currently dealing with this devasting disease. Melineh Kurdian: Very talented singer/songwriter and a really sweet lady to boot!
Dina Gathe: Dina & I have done a few shows together and I always enjoy working with her. Her cd Bother Me is awesome!
Eve Selis: Queen of the Roadhouse Rock! Check out the latest cd 'Angels and Eagles'. I had the pleasure of seeing Eve and her band perform the entire cd and I was blown away. Eve is an incredible singer, songwriter and performer. If you have the chance to see her live, run don't walk to the show! In the meantime, please check out her music. I promise you will love it!
Kelly's Lot: I've been lucky to do several shows with Kelly. She rocks and is also very involved with Hep C Aware / Hep C Coalition
Patricia Bahia: My good friend award winning songwriter Patricia Bahia writes in several styles and is great at all of them. One of these days we are going to write something together!
Matchbox20: One of the best live shows & Rob Thomas' incredible songwriting.
Brooks & Dunn: Ronnie Dunn's voice is one of my all time favorites.
Jann Arden: Her song Insensitive would be enough to make her a legend, lucky for us she has written so much more.
Kim Richey: Amazing singer songwriter, has written so many songs covered by other artists including me. Check out Every River and That's A Lie from the new cd Good As Gone.
Johnny Cash: When I was little, Live at Folsom Prison was one of the first records I had access to and I played it over and over.
Trisha Yearwood: One of my all time favorites.
Rosanne Cash: Always inspired songwriting and Johnny's daughter!
Miranda Lambert: What a talent! Every cd is so strong. Great singer, great songwriter, great, great, great!
Steve Perry: This is the closest thing to an 'official' site that I can find on my childhood fave.
Rod Stewart: What a voice and thank you for Maggie May!
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers: Those first few albums in particular had a huge impact on me. They still sound just as good today. Just got the Running Down A Dream dvd and can't wait to watch it!
The Eagles: I think I wore out the 1st Greatest Hit and Hotel California albums both released back in '76. I'm bumming that the new cd is only available at Walmart, that is so NOT cool.
Fastball: Love their songwriting!
Edwin McCain: Another cool singer/songwriter. Love his Messenger cd.
Antigone Rising: Their cd From the Ground Up is one of the best ever! Certainly the best live album I've ever heard.
Keith Urban: Amazing guitarist, great live show and oh, so easy on the eyes!
Live: Cause sometimes you just gotta rock! Love the new cd Songs From Black Mountain!
Gary Allan: Sexy voice, great songs.
Dwight Yoakam: Dwight's just cool, what more can you say.
Carrie Underwood: Ok, I'm NOT a fan of the american idol show but when I started hearing songs off her first cd it was obvious that she is really talented. Incredible voice!
Jewel: I especially like the cds This Way and 0304.
Neil Diamond: Ok, he has about million songs that are great: Stones, Solitary Man, I'm A Believer, Kentucky Woman, Holly Holy, Longfellow Serenade, Play Me, The Last Thing On My Mind, and on and on...
Heart: Love these ladies! Such inspirations through all their incarnations.
Queen: These boys broke every rule of radio in the 70's with their one of a kind sound.
Cheap Trick: Like listening to 10 different bands in one. Always ingenious and fun. Still kickin' out great tunes.
The Runaways: I loved these guys when I was a teenager. At the time any band with a girl in it was cool but an all girl band just rocked my little world. I still have all my LP's. I got to meet Joan Jett in her early Blackhearts days and it was a thrill. She damn near broke my hand with her handshake :-) She's tiny but she's tough, I tell ya! Her story of being turned down by 23 record labels and then starting her own is one of the most inspiring in music and life. I'm glad they are finally getting some credit for being pioneers.
Gladys Knight: One of the greatest voices of all time.
Sam Cooke: The one and only.
David Cassidy: Ok, yes I was little when I first heard the Partridge Family but I still love David Cassidy's voice, plus Shirley Jones for cryin' out loud! The musicians on the records where all the top studio guys of the time and songwriters as well. The vocals are like a master class in singing. Plus you can only "get happy" when you sing along! ;-)
Whitesnake: What? It was the 80's and we were really young...lot's of hair and leather, what can I say. Not sure what's up with this website though, it's kinda cheezy...
Saraya: Just a little more from my hair metal days. Sandi Saraya and the boys only released two cds, both rocked! They aren't available on iTunes but the actual cds are available on Amazon. I highly recommend.
Sugarland: Can't wait to see them live!
Lonesome Spurs: Lynda Kay Parker & Danny B. Harvey. Truly one of the most unique and fun acts, a mix of honky-tonk and rockabilly.
James Intveld: Great voice and songs. My favorites are All The Way From Memphis and Love Calls.
Joss Stone: Great voice, but what's with the shoes?
Jamie Green: Very cool blue-eyed soul.
Cindy Alexander: Fav Cindy song is 818!
